Tom Curley
The Associated Press
Tom Curley became president and chief executive officer of The Associated Press on June 1, 2003. He is the 12th person to lead the AP since its founding in 1848. Under Mr. Curley's leadership, the AP is evolving from a wire service to an interactive global news network geared to meet the content needs and marketplace demands of members and customers worldwide.
Mr. Curley was previously president and publisher of USA Today, the nation's largest-selling daily newspaper. Since 1998 he was also senior vice president of the newspaper's owner, Gannett Co., Inc., publisher of 100 daily newspapers in the United States.
Mr. Curley holds a political science degree from Philadelphia's La Salle University and a master's degree in business administration from Rochester Institute of Technology. He is a vice chairman of the boards at both schools.
Eric Shanks
Co-President and COO - Fox Sports Media Group
Eric Shanks is Co-President and COO of the FOX Sports Media Group. Mr. Shanks oversees all entities within the Group, including FOX Soccer, SPEED, FOX Deportes, FUEL TV, FOXSports.com and all digital ventures, as well as FOX Sports’ relationship with The Big Ten Network. A six-time Emmy Award-winner, Mr. Shanks holds the day-to-day responsibilities of the FOX Sports broadcast network, including programming, production, field and studio operations, marketing, promotion, communications, business and legal affairs. He also oversees all aspects of FOX Sports’ television investments and partnerships. In addition, he spearheads the division’s strategy of pursuing major event programming to insure FOX Sports’ position as a premier network sports broadcaster.
Previously, Mr. Shanks served as executive vice president of DIRECTV Entertainment. Prior to joining DIRECTV, he served as a producer at FOX Sports and as vice president of Enhanced Programming for FOX Television Networks.
Ken Dale
Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer - The Associated Press
Ken Dale was named senior vice president and chief financial officer in 2004. He was previously vice president for Global Business, overseeing AP Ad Management Services and the financial side of new business opportunities.
Mr. Dale joined the AP in 2000 as deputy director of Business Development, after 21 years at J.P. Morgan advising media clients on mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance transactions.
A graduate of Georgetown University, Mr. Dale holds an MBA in finance from New York University.
Gary Ehrlich

Gary Ehrlich has been Executive Vice President, Fox Sports Enterprises (FSE) since 2000. FSE encompasses Fox Sports' interest in several ventures such as Fox Sports Radio, Fox Sports Grills, Fox Sport Sky Boxes, BCS Bowls Licensing Joint Venture, Fox Sports Licensing and Merchandising, digital initiatives and numerous other brand extensions.
FSE also includes Fox Sports Baseball Holdings and various Joint Ventures in partnership with Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG). FSE formerly was responsible for Fox' ownership stakes in various team and venue assets such as the Los Angeles Dodgers/Dodgertown, Madison Square Garden/New York Knicks/New York Rangers (in partnership with Cablevision), and Staples Center/Toyota Sports Center/LA Live Sports Entertainment District (in conjunction with AEG).
Mr. Ehrlich was previously Senior Vice President, Studio Operations for Fox Filmed Entertainment.
Mr. Ehrlich holds a BS degree from the College of Journalism and Communications at the University of Florida and an MBA from California State University, Northridge.
